Anna Silk

Anna Silk is a Canadian actor born the 31st of January 1974. She is best known as Bo in the Showcase Television series Lost Girl. Silk was born Fredericton, New Brunswick, Canada. Ilkay Silk as well as Peter Silk both were scholars. Ilkay was also a writer, director and producer. She is director of drama at St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna is able to recall her first experiences as being at play rehearsals together with her mother. Silk was a part of numerous commercials for children. She graduated from St. Thomas University with the Bachelor of Arts degree in 1997. Theatre St. Thomas staged at least 2 early plays: Seven Menus & The Kitchen. Silk was able to move from Toronto in the year 1999 to Los Angeles during the years following 1999. Seth Cooperman met Silk at an Actors Workshop in Los Angeles, in 2007. They got married in December 2009 after a civil wedding ceremony. The couple renewed their vows on April 10, 2011 in Fredericton at a Jewish wedding ceremony after Silk converted to Judaism. Silk Cooperman was born in May of 2013, and her son was named Samuel Jerome Cooperman. Her son Levi Aaron was born on May 13, 2016. Silk was also nominated in 2009 for the Gemini Awards in her role in the role of Cassidy Holland. In 2009, she was cast as the main Bo Dennis in the series Bo Dennis in Lost Girl. Silk was pregnant while shooting the final season of the third season. She announced the pregnancy to the fans in the Showcase Season Three pre-show special of 6 January 2013. Silk was working on Lost Girl since the third season finale episode was first conceived on January 6, 2013 on Twitter, announced her readiness to return on the 4th of June 2013 when Showcase and Prodigy Pictures began production on fourth season. CNN named Bo's portrayal with Lauren (Zoie Palermo) in Lost Girl one of the most watched TV couples of all time. E! voted it the top couple on TV in 2013. Entertainment Television.
